Finance & Budget Committee
The Finance and Budget Committee provides a foundation of financial stability by coordinating the annual budgeting process and maintaining CREW Detroit operations in compliance with the policies, procedures, financial goals and budget established by the chapter. Working with CREW Network, the Committee maintains a detailed and consistent method of record keeping and monthly reporting to the Board of Directors. Additionally, the Committee serves as a liaison to each CREW Detroit committee to assist in event budgeting, communicate and understand budget expectations and financial analyses.
The Finance Committee works under the direction of CREW Detroit Treasurer who will serve as the committee chairperson.
Leads annual budgeting process.
Reviews monthly financial statements from CREW Network
Liaison to committees providing event budget oversite
Communicates budget expectations and provides guidance/support for financial analysis
Committee is open to all members – CPA or financial background is NOT required
