Our Community and Industry Impact
Philanthropy initiatives are very important to the members of CREW Detroit. Currently, the chapter participates in the following philanthropic endeavors:
Charity of Choice: Philanthropy. Each year CREW Detroit selects a charity on which they focus their philanthropic efforts. CREW Members have rallied to build something special – quite literally. Through donations of time, talent and expertise, members of CREW Detroit helped to plan, design, fund, purchase and build new facilities for First Step and Alternatives for Girls. From the office to the worksite, we’ve gotten our hands dirty building homes for Habitat for Humanity, improved schools for Life Remodeled and restored family’s quality of living with Humble Design
Holiday Party: Gratitude. CREW Outreach celebrates by going above and beyond. Every December, immersed in an atmosphere of camaraderie, stewardship and gratitude – the CREW Detroit Holiday Party holds a popular raffle. The results are cash and in-kind donations to more local charities. We don’t just agree with CREW Network's vision. We create it in our own community.

CREW Network Foundation
We are proud to support CREW Network Foundation, the only charitable foundation solely dedicated to advancing women in the commercial real estate industry. CREW Network Foundation is committed to bringing more women into commercial real estate by offering programs like CREW Careers and UCREW that educate women and girls about the career opportunities in the industry; supporting CRE higher education and training through college scholarships and internships; and providing mentorships to those new to the industry.
