Industry Programs Committee

The Industry Programs Committee is responsible for planning and executing events that are in alignment with the chapter’s strategic plan – to provide a member & guest experience that educates the CRE community on industry-driving topics while creating diverse professional relationships.  Programs feature speakers and panelists discussing timely and regionally relevant commercial real estate topics including hard hat tours, CRE hot topics, and a national/keynote speaker. 

The Committee is also responsible for seeking strategic opportunities for collaboration with other commercial real estate organizations (CoreNet, NAIOP, IFMA, NAWIC, AGC, ULI, etc.) to deliver diverse market perspectives, generate membership interest and create networking opportunities. 

• Research CRE trends and topics and developing program content 

• Secure speakers, panelists, presenters, hosts (first from membership roster) 

• Maintain venue list focusing on diverse locations, ownership  

• Identify potential partner organizations

• Assist with strategy and execution of CREW Detroit’s interface with external organizations (public and private)
