Outreach Committee

The CREW Detroit Outreach Committee extends the mission and vision of CREW Network by inspiring and educating the next generation of female professionals. This is achieved by mentoring and hosting events with our local schools, universities and communities, helping to create an expanded interest in the commercial real estate industry for the next generation. Outreach programs not only provide scholarship and employment opportunities from our chapter membership, but also help create dynamic forums that continue the CREW conversation and the goal of achieving equality in our industry.

  • CREW Detroit Outreach hosts several philanthropic endeavors and events in an effort to make an impact, while building relationships within our community. Participating in these events is an excellent avenue to contribute to your community (help), grow your network (meet), and expand your zone of influence (learn). Examples of these efforts are outlined below:

  • UCREW: Building Relationships. UCREW is a program that introduces commercial real estate careers to college and university students, as well as early-career professionals.

  • CREW Careers: Building Foundations. CREW Careers is a program that introduces young school age girls to careers in the commercial real estate industry. This motivational and informational program provides the foundation for future CRE professionals. Students learn about the industry from CREW members who share information on their professions, insights and personal experiences.
